We're Fried (Sorta)

Funny stories today. The on-air computer monitor burned out overnight. It was interesting to wake up to fried electronics this morning. (Nothing dangerous, luckily). Then, one of our cats stepped on a power strip and shut off our internet, taking the station off the air. We're back up now. Haha! Good times.

Happy New Year, everyone!

We're The Old School 91 FM, What About New-School 91?

91-online

We have some friends (amazing, isn't it?) that are starting a new online 91 FM station called "91 Online." It's led by "Temp Boy" Brandon Rahbar and a band of merry people who have a heart to reach people for Christ using the same kind of music the old-school 91 FM did. Over here at the tribute/vintage site, we'll continue to give you Vintage 91 FM and remember the days on the FM band. If you can support them in their new venture, please do. Maybe Brandon will buy you some pizza. ;-)

- OKC91FM.com Is Better Than Ever

We just threw the switch and started broadcasting the OKC91FM.com stream from it's own computer in our massive studio complex (err, I mean my house.) What does this mean? It means more songs and more specialty programming than was possible when we were using the Live365.com servers (which we can use as a backup). Good times!

Keep checking back as we'll more info on a special 91 FM 25th Anniversary special coming soon. Until then, we'll keep playing your favorite music from 91 FM's years on the air in Oklahoma City.

Thanks for listening!!
